Making a Difference

Oakley's Miracle will be offering monthly support groups that you can join for support while trying to cope with a life limiting diagnosis, grief, and medical parenting. These groups will open up the opportunity to speak with other families who may be going through a similar situation as you.

Oakley's Miracle will focus on fundraising to raise money for our family grant programs, as well as supporting other organizations that work with families who have a child with a life limiting diagnosis.

Our family grant program is designed to help cover the costs of medical supplies and equipment needed for your child to have better quality of life. The grant programs will also help to cover part of the accommodation expenses that come with being a medical parent. Please reach out to us if you have further questions on these programs.

🕊️ Oakley's Miracle Bereavement & Family Support Fund

Provides compassionate assistance to families who have experienced the loss of a child or are facing end-of-life care for a medically complex child.

Funds may be used for:

Funeral and memorial expenses

Burial costs

Headstones or memorial markers

Memory-making services (professional photography, handprints, keepsakes.

Goal: To ease the financial burden of loss and ensure families can focus on grieving, healing, and honoring their child's memory rather than worrying about expenses.

🦿 Oakley's Miracle Mobility Fund

Supports children with physical disabilities, limb differences, and mobility challenges.

Funds may be used for:

Prosthetics and prosthetic adjustments

Wheelchairs and specialized seating

Walkers, gait trainers, and standers

Adaptive strollers

Home accessibility equipment

Wheelchair ramps

Goal: Help children gain independence and participate more fully in everyday life.

💙 Oakley's Miracle NICU Family Fund

Provides immediate support to families with babies admitted to the NICU.

Funds may be used for:

Gas cards for parents traveling to and from the hospital

Parking passes

Meals while families spend long days at the bedside

Hotel accommodations when parents live far from the hospital

Ronald McDonald House stays

Emergency necessities such as diapers and toiletries

Goal: Reduce financial stress so parents can focus on their baby instead of expenses.

🧬 Oakley's Miracle Rare Disease Fund

Supports families navigating rare diagnoses and medically complex conditions.

Funds may be used for:

Travel to specialists and treatment centers

Diagnostic testing not covered by insurance

Medical equipment

Therapy services

Temporary lodging during treatment

Family support resources

Goal: Ensure rare diagnoses do not prevent children from accessing care and opportunities.
